Autism Science Foundation / Site Conversion from Drupal to WordPress

The Autism Science Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports autism research and provides information about autism to the general public. We converted the site from Drupal to WordPress, made it responsive, and fixed performance issues.
In Collaboration With:
- Autism Science Foundation marketing team
- Gold N Fish Marketing
Our Role:
Another development company had built the Autism Science Foundation website and it was slow, not mobile-friendly, and difficult to manage. ASF wanted us to fix all of the issues while retaining their current site design.
We discussed CMS options with ASF and their marketing partner, GNF. WordPress was selected becuase of its widespread usage and it was a tool familiar to their staff and contributors. We rebuilt the site on WordPress, migrated their existing content from Drupal, re-coded the front-end to display responsively on all devices, and fixed performance and other miscellaneous issues. The site is now stable, fast, and easy for ASF staff to manage.
Unique Technical Features:
- Site and content transition from Drupal to WordPress
- Front-end coding to make site responsive without a redesign
